Speakers will include: Penelope Dean, Timothy Hyde, John McMorrough, Ana Miljacki, and Enrique Walker. The event is scheduled for 10:00AM – 5:00PM at the Knowlton School of Architecture Auditorium.

Ana presented Acts of Research at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design. This lecture “Acts of Research” will propose that architectural research is one of the clearest symptoms of architecture’s contemporary participation in the culture of postproduction and knowledge management.

13:100 | Thirteen New York Architects Design for Ordos – Exhibition Design – The exhibition featured the designs by the thirteen New York-based firms working on the Ordos 100 project in Inner Mongolia. The show presented both the individual villas and the larger urban design project by focusing on the role of the architect working within the unique constraints of Ai Weiwei’s/Herzog and De Meuron’s masterplan and art project. This exhibition was produced by Project_ with Benjamin Porto and Daniel Sakai. It was curated by Gregory Wessner and presented at the Architectural League of New York’s Urban Center.

YouPrison Exhibition – Invited by Francesco Bonami along with 10 other international architects to design a prison cell, we transformed our portion of the gallery into an exhibition space examining the relationship between the United States prison system (prison industrial complex) and larger global economic and industrial forces. This research project and installation were produced by Project_ with Benjamin Porto and Daniel Sakai and were presented at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Torino, Italy.
